UNIDO is launching this call for expression of interest for the purpose of setting up a Technical Advisory Group to provide feedback and peer review the Guideline for assessing the environmental footprint of leather. The Guideline is prepared in response to need for a global action to harmonize requirement and the methodologies that are used to calculate the environmental footprint of leather at global scale. Guideline will take into consideration also technical performance and durability as important factor to assess environmental footprint. Result of the guideline should provide users science based information regarding environmental footprint.
