The 18th UNIDO Leather and Leather Products Industry Panel was hosted by China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) from 31 August until 5th Sepetember 2012 in Shnaghai/China. The sixth leather forum was part of the session. Among main topics discussed and  presented and reviewed by the Panel were: Carbon Footprint - Life Cycle Assessment in leather processing, Global Leather Value Chain, e-Learning and UNIDO initiatives to develop new learning courses and training aids and Cleaner technology - Hair saving liming.
